Clinical Experience
Jane has worked for the last 20 years in private practice , treating musculoskeletal, neurological conditions and pain disorders. She has always enjoyed working with older people and is passionate about helping them improve their mobility, independence and quality of life. Prior to working in private practice she treated clients in Aged Care settings, always dedicated to better their quality
of life by improving mobility and independence. Patient education and training of carers has always been an important factor in treatment programmes.

Extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation of people who had suffered Stroke or Brain injury at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital was an important and very rewarding part of her early career. As well as being able to contribute significantly to recovery of these patients, it laid the basis for a holistic approach to treatment, which underpinned many years of work in Private Practice and Aged Care.

One of her special interests is chronic pain which requires a holistic, biopsychosocial approach. As well as the Graduate Certificate in Pain Medicine, Jane has attended David Butler’s Explain Pain course and Lorimer Moseley’s Master Classes in Pain.
